Give Online

Online Giving

At Abilene, we practice tithing for the support of Christ’s body, the church, as God commands. We recognize that giving 10% of our income is the Biblical standard of giving.

Abilene offers the ability to securely give online. You can select a one-time gift or conveniently set up a recurring gift.

Recurring Giving

One of the best ways to stay faithful in your online giving is to set up recurring giving. This gives you the option to choose how often you would like an automatic gift to be made.

There are two ways that you can set up a recurring gift:

You’re bank’s bill pay feature

Each bank’s website will be slightly different, but here is how the basic process works:

1. Log on to your bank’s website and click on the link for the “Bill Pay” feature.

2. Add the church as a Payee.

3. Set up an Automatic Payment to be sent to the church on a scheduled basis (weekly, monthly, etc.). You can also send a one-time gift (e.g., for a special annual offering).

4. Each time you make a gift (either one-time or recurring), the bank will mail a check to the church. This check will be deposited into the church’s bank account just like a regular, handwritten check.

Note: It’s a good idea to log in and verify from time to time that your recurring gift is still active.

The Abilene App or Online Portal (TouchPoint)

4. If you are not already signed in, enter cell phone number to receive a secure one-time sign in code.

5. Enter your payment method information.

6. Enter and verify your billing address.

7. Select the “Complete Setup” button.

Note: It’s a good idea to log in and verify from time to time that your recurring gift is still active.
