The Bible teaches that children are a gift from the Lord. We consider our ministry to the children of Abilene Baptist Church and the surrounding Central Savannah River Area to be a great privilege. The honor and opportunity we have to lay down the Biblical and Spiritual foundation of a child is enthusiastically accepted by many dedicated people here at Abilene. From first grade through the fifth grade, our children are offered a fun, balanced and Biblical program that incorporates instruction, fellowship and ministry.
Here are a few activities our children anticipate in each year:
- Mission studies (such as Royal Ambassadors)
- Girls in Action (Challengers and Acteens)
- Mission work
- Bible memorization (AWANA)
- Leadership training
- Seasonal activities
- Fellowships and parties
- Outreach and ministry activities
- and much, much more.
Come join us Sunday mornings for Bible Fellowship, Sunday evenings for Children’s Choirs, and Wednesday nights for exciting discipleship and missions opportunities.
