Dr. Brad Whitt

A native of Milan, Tennessee, Pastor Brad came to Abilene in May of 2012. He earned a Doctor of Ministry in Expository Preaching from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina. He is married to the former Kim Robinson, also of Milan. They have three children-Laura Kate, Jack & Benjamin.

Terry was born in Amite, Louisiana. He and his wife Barbara have one son, Matthew. Terry joined the Abilene Staff in November, 2007.
 

Tommy Sunderland
Minister of Music

Tommy rejoined the Abilene Staff in May, 2007, after having previously served as Minister of Music from 1991-1998. Tommy is joined in ministry with his wife, Lisa. They have 3 children; Amy, Matthew and Katy.
 

Paul is married to Missy Perkins and they have two sons. He is a graduate of Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary and has been involved in Student Ministry since 1989. Bro. Paul has served in churches in West Virginia, Virginia and Tennessee. He has been ministering in Georgia since 1999. He was previously at Abilene Baptist Church from January 1999 until June of 2006. Paul enjoys sports and spending time with his family.
 

Ginger is a native of North Augusta, South Carolina, and has been a church member of Abilene since 1982. She is married to Mark Custer and blessed with two children. Ginger joined the Abilene Staff part-time in 1992, as Preschool Coordinator and in May, 2010, she became our PreSchool/Children’s Director as well as overseeing a Weekday Preschool Program.
